Q: What happens if I need to come home early?

We would strongly advise all our applicants to take out sufficient travel insurance to cover all issues that may arise. We can advise

Q: Are there age restrictions?

Generally all our applicants need to be over 18. There are some instances when under 18’s can apply but please discuss this directly with our co-ordinator. There is no upper age limitation for the Volunteering programmes – although some locations will require a good level of fitness.

Q: How early do I need to start planning?

Depending on when and where you are travelling, there may be some delays due to visa applications or vaccinations required, all this will be explained to you. Some trips can be arranged in a matter of weeks others may take longer. Generally once the application from has been received we will revert back to you within 48 hours to start the process.

Q: How do I start?

Easy – contact us. We will go through the programmes with you and tell you all you need to know about the various options available to you. Our coordinator here at Equipeople will meet with you to discuss visa requirements, flights, costs, programme details and anything else you need to know.

Q: What are the fees?

Trainees should consider agency fees, flights, insurance, visa costs as well as Embassy fees. For a detailed breakdown about programme costs, talk to our Outbound Programme Coordinator.

Q: How long can I go for?

Depending on your choice of location and visa possibilities, placements are generally 3 – 12 months. Talk to our Outbound Programme Coordinator for more information about placement durations.
